What attracts you
to my production
work for my music
magazine?
Fonts

House style
Feature articles &
content
Cover lines
While conducting my results I
came to the conclusion that my
production work for my magazine
was most praised for the house
style I had used while producing it.
My house style for my production
work was a colour scheme of three
colours which was red, black and
white (which I realised was most
popular when representing the
rock genre due to a questionnaire I
did when I was planning &
designing my production work). I
also came to the conclusion that
the fonts I used was a main
attraction and that feature articles
& content were the least to
attract my audience which
suggests I would of improved that
if I were to produce my work
again.

Does it look like a
professional
magazine cover,
content page and
double page spread?
Yes
No
Not quite
While conducting my results I came
to the conclusion that fortunately
my magazine did look professional
due to the opinions of 7 of the
people who filled in my
questionnaire however, 3 people
didn’t think it looked totally
professional, therefore this
suggests if I were to improve my
production work of my music
magazine I would conduct a
questionnaire or ask what I would
have to do to make my work look
more professional compared to
other magazines and to check if I
have included each convention that
my front cover, content page and
double page spread was expected
to have.

While conducting my results I came to the conclusion
that fortunately all the people who had admired and
studied my magazine and also filled in my
questionnaire would have bought my magazine.

Is the house style the same throughout
all of my production work?
Yes
No
Not quite
While conducting my results I came to the conclusion that the house
style that I used for my magazine was the same throughout which
finalises that I used the same colour scheme of red, white and black
on my front cover, content page and double page spread correctly
and it represented the rock genre well to the audience.

Does my production work for my
magazine represent the rock genre?
Yes
No
Not at all
While conducting my results I came to the conclusion that my production
work for my magazine did in fact represent the rock genre well due to the 7
out of 10 people who filled in my questionnaire. However, 3 of the people
out of the total 10 that took my questionnaire disagreed and said no. This
suggests that to of improved my work to represent the rock genre more
clearly I would have to look over my questionnaires that I first did back when
I was planning and designing my production work to see if I had took in the
feedback well enough and on to my work, I would also look at more rock
genre music based magazines and study their house style and content and
see if I could improve my work to make it rival other professional rock genre
based magazines.

What could be
improved or
included more on my
production work?
Pictures
Fonts
House style
Feature articles &
content

While conducting my results I came to
the conclusion that the thing that I
should improve most in my production
work was the pictures. To do this, I
would have experimented more with
different shots and angles, and took
more time when editing my pictures on
Photoshop. I would have also of liked
to have used more pictures on my
production work to attract the
audience more and make my magazine
look more professional compared to
others. Fonts was suggested to be
improved on too, to do that I would
have kept within about 3 or more fonts
to use while keeping in mind that these
fonts were to also represent the rock
genre and fit in with the house style of
my magazine.
