1. Topic Proposal
The statement being questioned is a woman's spouse based solely on environmental
observation, or can it be based on genetics as well? It is said that children learn from their environment,
such as looking at their parent's behaviors. One theory is that is why girls learn what to look for in their
mates by looking at their father and looking for traits just as theirs. I have thought about this theory and
I believe that genetics can play a part in it. An example that comes to mind is if the girl has genetic
traits like her mother. Since her mother like certain traits of the father, the daughter could have
inherited her mother's traits. Therefore, the daughter looks for traits just as her father's without being
capable of not doing so; it is in her genes to do so. The reason I chose to do this is because it just
sparked an interest. It can raise questions such as is there such things as a “soul mate”? Or are we even
capable of finding love on our own?
