1. Atlas
Following the Uber model, Atlas connects students who need immediate
homework help with nearby available tutors.

2. Problem
● Finding and committing to consistent tutoring is stressful and often times
unnecessary, so students never find one
● Sometimes students only need help on one unit, homework, or exam
topic, sometimes tutors only have time to help for one session
● People with qualifications to tutor for a subject typically lack the means to
create visibility for their services

3. Example
Clayton has an exam coming up but doesn’t understand a
specific concept that will be on in. He doesn’t have time to
schedule a tutor, but he needs someone to help him on
short notice. There are no office hours scheduled in the
near future for this class. Clayton can use Atlas to get a
tutor immediately to come tutor him.
