 The associate degree program A&F is designed to
integrate the key areas of accounting and
financial management within a business
context. Students will be encouraged to evaluate
modern tools and technique to improve their
understanding of the financial management of
business and the role of a finance manager.
ASSOCIATE DEGREE IN IT MANAGEMENT
Computing Science is a discipline that has grown
at an unprecedented speed, and continues to
evolve each day. It has driven innovation in all
science fields as well as engineering, business,
entertainment and education. Employers want
to hire graduates who are as confident with their
business skills as they are with their IT
knowledge.
DISTINCT FEATURES:
 Equivalent to the conventional BA/BSc
 Semester system (4-semesters, 2-years)
 66 credit hours (22 subjects of 3-credit hours
each)
 Courses designed to develop students’
communication, interpersonal, analytical, and
specialized occupational skills
 Dynamic approach in course designing through
industry coordination.
 Flexible class timings
CLASS ATTENDANCE POLICY
 Students must attend every lecture for each course
in which they are registered. Students not
adhering to class attendance policy will be
restrained from appearing in the final
examination and they will be given "W" grade in
the course.
 A student missing more than 6 classes in a 3
credit-hours course due to any reason, will be
required to repeat the entire course. No transfer of
dues or tuition fee is permissible when a student is
withdrawn from a course. Fee once paid is neither
refundable nor transferable to next semester.
EVALUATION SYSTEM
 It is at the discretion of the course instructor to
decide on the weights of all assignments,
project, presentations, quizzes, etc which is a
30% of the total grade. However, as a broad
guideline set at this University, the distribution
of weights of these components is given below:
 Quizzes, Assignments, Class Participation,
Project, Presentation etc. 30%
Mid. Term Examination 30%
Final Examination 40%

DISCIPLINARY RULES & REGULATIONS
 Exemplary conduct and discipline is expected
from UCP students. Any student involved in
unethical and/or illegal activity, in the
classroom or on the campus, shall be
administered a stern warning. If the
defaulting student does not show
improvement in behavior/conduct, his/her
name will be struck off the University Rolls.
