Assignment Three (50pts): Social Networking due 9/21

Using your REAL name and school email address, Sign up for:
1. Linked In
    • Fill out all profile information in full and review privacy settings
    • Add your classmates as connections
    • Add two other people you know as connections
    • Feel free to add Barak Obama as your connection or other person you admire
2. Facebook
    • Fill out all profile information in full and review privacy settings
    • Add your classmates as connections
    • Add at least two other people interested in your topic as "friends"
    • Upload an image of yourself or a logo for your company.
    • Tag yourself in the class photograph on the server and add it to your FB page.
   •
3. Choose another networking GROUP within linked in, facebook, google, yahoo or
Meetup.com etc that is relevant to your themed project proposal (sfwow yahoo group,
research this etc) .
    • Fill out all profile information in full and review privacy settings
    • Request to be "connected" to someone in a like profession/field
    • Add at least two other people interested in your topic as "friends"
    • Upload an image of yourself or a logo for your company.

4. Sign up for FourSquare (Location based system/networking site). "Add" a new
destination such as your company, favorite place, home etc.

RE ALL:
Fill out complete profile information so that yourare "100%" involved or complete with
the sign up process.
USE YOUR CCSF EMAIL ADDRESS to sign up.
Part Two Due: 9/4
Connect with all of the fellow students in your class who's emails are listed on this page.
Ie: Enlist them to be your "friends" and "contacts"
Part Three Due: Next Class
On each site send out a message to your "connections" introducing yourself and attaching
the mission statement for your final project/campaign.


GRADING (50pts)
Complete set up including profile information, logo/photo etc. (25pts)
Submitted Ontime (10pts)
Connected and commented on two peer posts (15pts)
