Learning Objectives: 
This assignment has three objectives for building your technology skillsets: 
1. Learn to create a Services Blueprint, a typical technique for diagraming the sequence users experience 
2. Understand how to identify multiple layers that influence the delivery of the things necessary for your 
business technology project 
Task1: 
Task 1 is to generate a services blueprint that could represent your idea of the way users would experience the 
technology within your “plausible” business being considered for the team Technology Research project. It does 
not have to be the final one, just one that you think might work. 
The first step is to identify that main user experience that might be built in your business. 
The second step is to build a services blueprint diagram. This is an individual assignment #3 where you create a 
diagram by yourself, which would be equivalent to you preparing for the project team meeting. 
Upload to Connect a PDF of your services blueprint. 
Instructions for Services Blueprinting™ technique: 
Using the Services Blueprinting™ technique involves creating a diagram on paper, MS PowerPoint™ or in MS 
Word™ for a plausible user experience. 
How to create the Services Blueprint™: 
1. Start reviewing the technique at “Services Blueprint” site 
http://servicedesign.wikispaces.com/Service+Blueprint
Such as this accessed October 7, 2014. 
2. Or Use the style by Mary Jo Bitner, Berkeley (http://servicedesigntools.org/ ) 
3. Upload your Services Blueprint™ diagram to the Assignment folder in Connect. Attach the project file 
with Browse My Computer, call it 99999999Assignment3 where 999999999 is your student ID. SUBMIT 
when you are ready.
