This document outlines research guidelines focusing on the correlation between stress and job satisfaction among a population of U.S. households, based on GSS 2016 data. Key findings indicate that 50.1% of participants sometimes find work stressful and 88.9% are relatively satisfied with their jobs. Statistical analyses reveal that both stress and job satisfaction are measured using ordinal scales, with median values showing that most respondents fall into mid-range categories for both variables.
