daily structure in early childhood classroom. (25 marks)
b . Examine the ‘Essential Elements’ of a Good Daily Schedule of a

Instructions
a. This is a group assignment. Assignment for each group is given below.
b. You need to present the completed assignment through a PowerPoint
presentation with illustrations whenever possible.
c. Each member of the group needs to contribute to presenting the
assignment (marks are allocated for individual presentations (clarity, facts,
presentation skills.). Therefore, you need to allocate the sections to be
presented by each member.
d. Any materials you are planning to use in the activities should be shown in
the PowerPoint presentation or through video (via Zoom video facility)

1. Explain ‘Assessments in Early Childhood’ (10 marks)
2. Explain Authentic assessments. (10 marks)
3. Name suitable methods that
can be used in authentic
assessments.
(10 marks)
4. Discuss how you use the methods mentioned above to assess young
children. You need to describe different tools that can be used when
implementing these methods (25marks)
5. Discuss the benefits (purpose of assessments) of authentic assessments in
relation to- students, parents & families, early childhood teachers, early
childhood programs & public. (25 marks)

1. Babies enter the world with the capability of four big jobs. Explain these
four big jobs. (10 marks)
2. Name the common relationships found in the learning environments of
infants and toddlers. (10 marks)
3. Each of these relationships affect development of infants and toddlers.
Therefore, each relationship should be equally supported. Discuss how we
can support these relationships. (20 marks)
4. Discuss the features to be considered when designing and arranging learning
environments to benefit infants, toddlers, and caregivers . (20 marks)
5. Discuss the essential elements that should be included when creating
developmentally appropriate spaces and learning areas for Infants and
Toddlers. (20 marks)

2. Cultural differences or "cultural diversity" includes a broad spectrum of
groups or different aspects.

3. Explain the Cultural Diversity in Early Childhood Education?

4. Discuss the benefits of cultural diversity in early education.

5. A Culturally responsive teaching isn’t just about recognizing children’s
cultures; it’s about building a bridge between their experiences and the
educational content. Citing examples discuss how a culturally responsive
teacher should act when organizing activities in early childhood classroom .
