This document is a thesis submitted by Batchimeg Dorjsuren for the degree of Master of
Engineering in Agricultural Systems and Engineering. The thesis analyzes the livestock
husbandry of Mongolia, with a case study of Tuv province. It begins with an introduction to
Mongolia and background on the importance of the livestock sector to the Mongolian economy.
The literature review covers the current situation of livestock husbandry in Mongolia, the history
of its development, regional distribution, and livestock production. The methodology describes
the site selection of Tuv province and data collection and analysis methods. The results and
discussion sections analyze the livestock sector of Mongolia and Tuv province based on the data
