ASAPCOM Service covers the entire lifecycle of a network and security arrangement beginning with analysis
and perception then to integration and implementation right up to maintenance and operation. The premium
services in the ASAPCOM service portfolio far exceed those of the product manufacturer. In complying with
ITIL the service processes are designed to fulfil the requirements of the customer’s business. They integrate
smoothly into the management and service processes of the customer like an extended work bench.

We provide you with a selection of premium services for your network and security infrastructure to ensure
you can concentrate on your core business.
Consulting
Setting up and running network and security infrastructures require comprehensive ex-
pertise and careful planning. ASAPCOM possesses these skills and places them at your dis-
posal, the customer, in the form of Consulting Services. ASAPCOM, in this respect, is able to
draw on its many years of experience attained through fulfilling the specific stipulations
of a wide variety of branches.

ASAPCOM consulting services help to work out the best economic solution for the customer
that complies with the present day standard requirements. Whereby the risks involved
are analysed, minimized and made controllable. Just as in developing an economic solu-
tion ASAPCOM pursues a corporate approach where integration becomes a prime factor.

ASAPCOM Services include:
_the analysis of the customer’s demands, any threats or risks
_an analysis of performance and its optimization
_the development of functional, technical and integration concepts
_support for technical organizational implementation
_the planning and implementation of security management information (ISM)
_auditing as per BSI /ISO 27001

Integration
The technical organizational integration of new networks and security solutions into cur-
rent system environments is subject to risk; a challenge only be attempted by experts.
Current data flow cycles should not really be interrupted and then only briefly. That me-
ans there is very little time available on location and everything has to be done quickly
and without any hitches. With the help of ASAPCOM Integration Services the implementa-
tion risks on location and the time for installation are minimized.

Part of the integration service is the so called ‘staging’. That means that before the pro-
ducts and solutions are delivered to the customer they are first given a trial run in the
ASAPCOM laboratory and prepared for their assignment with the customer. This includes
the entire configuration. In the event that the integration prerequisites are very deman-
ding, then a model of the component parts of the enterprises’ network will be built.
The solution will then be adjusted in the laboratory for test purposes.

The introduction of new techniques and processes in the company in many cases leads
to a change in current work routines. Training is given to the respective personnel to
prepare them for these changes.

Maintenance and Operation
The goal of this service performance is to ensure trouble free running under the stipula-
tions of the agreed upon service levels. A multilingual service desk is available to custo-
mers round the clock, 365 days a year, should any system interference occur.
The ITIL compliant service processes are controlled from here. The processes being esca-
lated until the problem is solved. This process is supported by a web based Case Tracking
System (CTS).

_Premium Plus Services
_Service-with an additional module

The service packet is tailor-made, individually put together by the ASAPCOM service manager
to suit the needs of the customer. It ranges from a hotline service to managed services
whereby ASAPCOM takes over the running of the network and the security infrastructure.

Basic
Basic services, with their contractually agreed upon times, provide the customer with
telephone support and assistance in solving problems that arise.

These services include:
_calling up expertise knowledge over the telephone or via email to ask questions about
 operating, care of software or for special manufacturer information.
_adding up the number of product faults to be compensated by the manufacturer
_support for the customer in the event of reports of malfunction against a third party
_new software / firmware versions
_web based Case Tracking Systems (CTS) for competent portrayals and documentation of
 support queries
_allocation of special 0700 service numbers for cases arising that require explicit high
 priority.

Premium
In addition to the Basic Services ASAPCOM offers Premium Services in the event of mal-
function, providing remote control support as well as the availability to use the ASAPCOM
test laboratory.

A remote control access can be installed for the customer independent of the existing
network infrastructure, and used to diagnose and rectify faults, be that possible, via a
remote control connection. The test laboratory is used to reproduce faulty situations.
Intensive time consuming analyses and tests of actual cleaned up faulty versions can be
instigated and tested in the laboratory without delay.

A further Premium Service is fault recording management demanding compensation by
the manufacturer for any software errors occurring within the framework of the legally
binding obligations.

Premium PLUS
In addition to the Premium Service, the Premium Plus Service provides a proactive monitoring of the network
and security system which have been installed by the customer.

In the form of a Managed Service the heterogeneous system landscape is monitored under a uniform web sur-
face. Depending on the Service Level, these occur during normal working hours or round the clock, seven days
a week. This ensures rapid consistent fault recognition, diagnosis and a conspicuous warning signal. Should a
problem arise, an attempt will be made to rectify it with the assistance of remote control. Status information to
be received by the customer, in which particular spate of time and under which circumstances can be indivi-
dually specified.

Add-on Modules
The ASAPCOM Hardware additional module extends the Basic, Premium and Premium Plus Services should
hardware problems occur.

Hardware Repair & Replacement
With the Hardware Repair Service the customer is able to send the faulty hardware including a description of
the fault to ASAPCOM who then send the faulty hardware to the repair department of the manufacturer and
after the repair has been carried out, ASAPCOM sends the hardware back to the customer. With the Hardware
Replacement Service the faulty hardware is immediately exchanged with a replacement. ASAPCOM then im-
mediately sends an identical replacement hardware to the customer. As soon as the customer has received the
replacement hardware they will return the faulty hardware back to ASAPCOM.

On Site Service
With the Additional Module On Site Service a qualified ASAPCOM service engineer with his technical expertise
and skills will assist the customer on site.

  • 3. Consulting Setting up and running network and security infrastructures require comprehensive ex- pertise and careful planning. ASAPCOM possesses these skills and places them at your dis- posal, the customer, in the form of Consulting Services. ASAPCOM, in this respect, is able to draw on its many years of experience attained through fulfilling the specific stipulations of a wide variety of branches. ASAPCOM consulting services help to work out the best economic solution for the customer that complies with the present day standard requirements. Whereby the risks involved are analysed, minimized and made controllable. Just as in developing an economic solu- tion ASAPCOM pursues a corporate approach where integration becomes a prime factor. ASAPCOM Services include: _the analysis of the customer’s demands, any threats or risks _an analysis of performance and its optimization _the development of functional, technical and integration concepts _support for technical organizational implementation _the planning and implementation of security management information (ISM) _auditing as per BSI /ISO 27001 Integration The technical organizational integration of new networks and security solutions into cur- rent system environments is subject to risk; a challenge only be attempted by experts. Current data flow cycles should not really be interrupted and then only briefly. That me- ans there is very little time available on location and everything has to be done quickly and without any hitches. With the help of ASAPCOM Integration Services the implementa- tion risks on location and the time for installation are minimized. Part of the integration service is the so called ‘staging’. That means that before the pro- ducts and solutions are delivered to the customer they are first given a trial run in the ASAPCOM laboratory and prepared for their assignment with the customer. This includes the entire configuration. In the event that the integration prerequisites are very deman- ding, then a model of the component parts of the enterprises’ network will be built. The solution will then be adjusted in the laboratory for test purposes. The introduction of new techniques and processes in the company in many cases leads to a change in current work routines. Training is given to the respective personnel to prepare them for these changes. Maintenance and Operation The goal of this service performance is to ensure trouble free running under the stipula- tions of the agreed upon service levels. A multilingual service desk is available to custo- mers round the clock, 365 days a year, should any system interference occur.
  • 4. The ITIL compliant service processes are controlled from here. The processes being esca- lated until the problem is solved. This process is supported by a web based Case Tracking System (CTS). Differences are made between: _Basic Services _Premium Services _Premium Plus Services _Service-with an additional module The service packet is tailor-made, individually put together by the ASAPCOM service manager to suit the needs of the customer. It ranges from a hotline service to managed services whereby ASAPCOM takes over the running of the network and the security infrastructure. Basic Basic services, with their contractually agreed upon times, provide the customer with telephone support and assistance in solving problems that arise. These services include: _calling up expertise knowledge over the telephone or via email to ask questions about operating, care of software or for special manufacturer information. _adding up the number of product faults to be compensated by the manufacturer _support for the customer in the event of reports of malfunction against a third party _new software / firmware versions _web based Case Tracking Systems (CTS) for competent portrayals and documentation of support queries _allocation of special 0700 service numbers for cases arising that require explicit high priority. Premium In addition to the Basic Services ASAPCOM offers Premium Services in the event of mal- function, providing remote control support as well as the availability to use the ASAPCOM test laboratory. A remote control access can be installed for the customer independent of the existing network infrastructure, and used to diagnose and rectify faults, be that possible, via a remote control connection. The test laboratory is used to reproduce faulty situations. Intensive time consuming analyses and tests of actual cleaned up faulty versions can be instigated and tested in the laboratory without delay. A further Premium Service is fault recording management demanding compensation by the manufacturer for any software errors occurring within the framework of the legally binding obligations. transparency
  • 5. Premium PLUS In addition to the Premium Service, the Premium Plus Service provides a proactive monitoring of the network and security system which have been installed by the customer. In the form of a Managed Service the heterogeneous system landscape is monitored under a uniform web sur- face. Depending on the Service Level, these occur during normal working hours or round the clock, seven days a week. This ensures rapid consistent fault recognition, diagnosis and a conspicuous warning signal. Should a problem arise, an attempt will be made to rectify it with the assistance of remote control. Status information to be received by the customer, in which particular spate of time and under which circumstances can be indivi- dually specified. Add-on Modules The ASAPCOM Hardware additional module extends the Basic, Premium and Premium Plus Services should hardware problems occur. Hardware Repair & Replacement With the Hardware Repair Service the customer is able to send the faulty hardware including a description of the fault to ASAPCOM who then send the faulty hardware to the repair department of the manufacturer and after the repair has been carried out, ASAPCOM sends the hardware back to the customer. With the Hardware Replacement Service the faulty hardware is immediately exchanged with a replacement. ASAPCOM then im- mediately sends an identical replacement hardware to the customer. As soon as the customer has received the replacement hardware they will return the faulty hardware back to ASAPCOM. On Site Service With the Additional Module On Site Service a qualified ASAPCOM service engineer with his technical expertise and skills will assist the customer on site.
