One group created an English website and Facebook page to share information about British culture and hold quizzes and contests. The other group distributed English vocabulary words daily to students and organized a competition that was publicized on the first group's website. Both projects aimed to motivate the school community to learn English in fun ways using online resources.

Ezoo Art Camp is a 3-day art camp from 5-7 September for ages 6 to 12 that aims to stimulate children's imagination and guide them to express their ideas through various art mediums and activities. Participants will be introduced to art techniques, take art walks, and participate in hands-on activities like painting, claymaking, and 3D dioramas. Incheon Wolmido Island is a cruise and amusement park located off the coast of Incheon, South Korea. Transportation and cruise fees range from $10-20 for children and $20 for adults. The cruise takes visitors around Wolmido Island and has a minimum of 20 and maximum of 40 participants. Young children in strollers may have difficulty navigating the tour boats.
Saturdays, August 8th and 29th will feature a water sports event at the Monte-Rio Complex located on the Buhkan River in Hongchon. The minimum reservation is 10 people and the signup deadline is the Thursday prior. The $75 fee covers transportation, use of inflatable boats, a water ski class, and water skiing. Additional funds should be brought for meals. Signups can be done at any CAC or by contacting the ODR staff. The event is open to soldiers, family members, KATUSA, and any USFK ID card holder, up to a 30 person limit. Departure times from various CAC locations are provided.
A pool tournament will be held at Camp Stanley CAC on August 23rd at 2pm. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place winners. Those interested can visit the Camp Stanley CAC or call 732-5366 for more information about the partner "8" ball pool tournament.
This document advertises a trip organized by Camp Red Cloud BOSS to visit Gyongbok Palace on August 1st. Nami Island is a small half-moon shaped island located in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, approximately 60 km east of Seoul. The island features a peaceful natural environment with forests, grassy areas, and wildlife like ostriches and squirrels. Visitors can enjoy bike rentals, electric car tours, swimming, and ferry rides between the island and mainland.
Volunteers are needed on Saturday, August 29th at 9am at the Camp Casey CAC to participate in the Area 1 Good Neighbor Program cleanup event sponsored by the Camp Casey/Hovey BOSS. The event aims to keep the community clean and foster goodwill with the city of Dongducheon. Those interested can call the provided numbers or sign up at their local CAC center for more information.
