This document provides information about transportation to tour the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). A $30 fee is required and there are only 40 slots available per trip, which can be signed up for at any Area I Community Activity Center. The tour departs from several bases between 7-8:20am and arrives at Camp Bonifas by 9:30am, returning around 2pm. Proper attire is required and children under 10 are not allowed. Military ID is necessary for the tour.

a. Military personnel must either
wear their respective service
dress uniform (Class A or B
equivalent) or appropriate civilian
attire.
b. Civilian personnel must be
appropriately dresses in casual,
semi-formal or formal attire.
This includes a dress suit, khakis
or jean trousers with a polo-
style or formal collared shirt.
Shoes must be close-toe and
can be either low quarters or
boots. Backpacks, purses and
camera bags are permitted,
but must remain in the vehicle
transporting the individual into
the UNC MACHA. Jackets and
outerwear must be worn, not
carried.
All visitors to the UNC MACHA
must dress appropriately, IAW
the following standards:
• Children under 10 years are not
allowed
• Military ID card is required

here for a while, there’s no better time for you to visit one of the most
heavily guarded places on earth. Bring Korean Won for lunch, snacks
