VIRTUAL REALITY
The term ‘virtual reality’ comes from the mathematical concept of an
image that has the virtue of a real object without the substance.
Virtual means not physically existing but made by software to appear
so. VR is all about the creation of a virtual world that user can
interact with.
4
Virtual reality can be achieved by a helmet which covers the eyes and
ears and then sends visual and oral signals to the user. The user also
wears the special gloves which allows the user to manipulate computer
generated items.
Britain leads the world in VR research. Professor Robert Stone of Britain,
of the National Advanced Robotics Research Centre at Manchester
University was developing systems that can make human to reach
anywhere without taking them out of the office.
5
Uses of virtual reality
There are manyuses of VR in our modern technological world and some of themare written
below:
1. Military : The military use VR for the trainee in a number of different
real life situation.
6
 2. Sport and Games : VR is used as a training aid in many
sport and to help measure athletic performances and analyse
technique. It is very famous for gaming as well.
7
3. Mental health : VR has become a primary method for
treating post-traumatic stress. It makes the traumatic event for the
patient to re-enactment
84. Medical Training : Medical and dental students use VR to practice surgeries
without any harmful consequences.
5. Education : VR can be motivating platform for polishing social skills for
children. Student are able to interact with each other within 3D environment.
9
Advantage of VR
1.Virtual reality creates a realistic World.
2.It enables to explore places.
3.Through virtual reality user can
experiment with an artificial
environment.
4.Virtual reality make the education more
easy and comfort.
5.Entertainment; fun, artistic expression.
6.Interaction with the environment.
7.Fight simulators and games.
10
Disadvantages of VR
1.Destroy human connections.
2.Lack of Flexibility.
3.Addiction to the virtual world.
4.Quite expensive.
5.Health effects.
6.The Equipments used in VR are
very expensive.
7. It consists of complex technology.
8.Virtual reality replacing reality.
The feature of Virtual Reality
 Virtual reality is a growing
industry.
 PC and specialized hardware
are getting better, faster and
cheaper because of development
in VR.
 Revolution in gaming
industries.
 Interaction gaming like
experience to users to view the
whole project.
 User can walk around the
property, inside flats In a virtual
environment from their home.
11
Conclusion:-
As you have probably noticed, the virtual reality
environment is consistently evolving. It could bring
dozens of benefits to almost any field, but it can
also prove to be harmful. It is valued by tech geeks
and data scientists to make a real time model.
Facebook oculus is its well known example.
