There are two types of articles: indefinite and definite. The indefinite articles "a" and "an" are used with singular nouns and "a" is used before words beginning with consonant sounds, while "an" is used before words beginning with vowel sounds. The definite article "the" refers to a specific or particular noun and is used with singular, plural, and uncountable nouns as well as adjectives, names of countries, seas, religions, newspapers, titles, and famous events.

etc.
 ‘an’ is used before words that begins with
Vowel sounds (a,e,i,o,u)
Ex:...... An apple , an egg, an Ice cream etc

4.  A definite articles is used when we want to
refer to a particular person or object
 EX....a. The stars are twinkling in the sky
We use ‘the’ with
 singular noun and plural noun
