1. The overall appearance of this double paged spread is extremely effective, as only three colours
have been used. The background works well as it makes the white font stand out to make it much
easier to read. The red colours are used for more prominent points within the text like the title and
the dropcap. I would like to use the colour red for the questions I asked during the interview for my
double paged spread and the text in white following a similar colour structure to the one seen
above. There is one main image placed on the left side of the page with other pictures placed
around the spread. This is what I will be doing in the making of my double paged spread, I think it
looks more professional and the focus is on either the text or the image whereas if the image was
placed under text it wouldn’t be as readable. There is a quote taken from the article at the top as the
main audience grabber, I will be using a quote from the interview I will be doing to encompass the
audience.
