Environmental science is a multidisciplinary field that applies various natural sciences to solve environmental problems. It studies the interactions between living and non-living elements of the biosphere, including air, water, food, sunlight, and temperature. Environmental science also considers how human activities in areas like agriculture, industry, transportation, and technology can negatively impact ecosystems. As a result of increased environmental contamination, environmental science courses are growing rapidly at many universities to address these issues and make people more aware of how we are all connected to the environment.

1. ENVIRONMENTALSCIENCE
The word environment derived from French word “environ” means “to
encircle” or “surround” in which organism or group of organisms live. This is
literature point of view but according to me all the things we use in our daily
life is environment either directly or indirectly. From morning to night whole
day we use the things is related with environment just think once and you get
that its all true. So the environment consists of living and non living
substances. Scientifically we can say that the environment consists of biotic
and abiotic substances, i.e. consists of air, water, food, sunlight, temperature,
electricity etc. Since one can define the environment as, “it is the sum of all
social, economical, biological, physical or chemical factors which constitute
all surroundings of men or living organism, who is both creater and modular
of this environment”.
Environmental Science is the application of all fields of natural
science towards solving environmental problems, its all about nature. Biology,
Geology, Chemistry, Physics, Meteorology and many other disciplines are
included in the environmental science. Mathemetics and Statistics and
Computer Science also help in modeling and management of environment.
The Environmental Science is, therefore, a multidisciplinary
science, which may require attention of experts from different branches of
science when decisions regarding environmental matters have to be taken. As
we all know the craze of progress in agriculture, industry, transportation and
technology is taken as the general criterionof development of any nation. But
such kind of human activities created adverse effects on all living organisms
or on all living properties of the biosphere. Today environment has become
very unpleasant, contaminated and harmful for living organisms or so to say
harmfull for all life providing things.
So, Environmental Science courses at both the basic and
advanced level are the most rapidally growing courses at many universities.
And I think that this all issues of environmental is also related with all of us
so no one can be run away from this since, Everyone should be aware of this
