The All India Artist Camp, held at UPES from June 2 to June 4, 2016, featured 25 artists showcasing their painting talents. Dr. S. J. Chopra, the chancellor of UPES, acknowledged the efforts of the artists and organizers, while Mr. Harish Srivastava proposed future events that could include sculpture and theme-based paintings. The camp aimed to enrich the cultural environment of the university and engage students and staff in creative hobbies.

Art Camp Concludes at UPES
University of Petroleum and Energy Studies is collaborating with Wisdom Society of Creative Arts and
organized All India Artist Camp (Painting) from 2nd
June to 04th
June, 2016 at Bidholi Campus, Dehradun.
25 Artists displayed their painting talent and created some wonderful aesthetic and modern art painting
these will adone the galleries of University of Petroleum and Energy Studies for time to come.
Dr. S J Chopra, Chancellor UPES facilitated the entire painter and the Wisdom Society for taking part in
the Art Camp and exhausting our students & Staff to take on such hobbies.
Mr. Harish Srivastava the conveyer of the Wisdom Society thanked the Chancellor and all Staff UPES for
making wonderful arrangement for the painting camp and accommodation. They also wants UPES to
organize more such events and also include Sculpture and Education theme base painting.
