ā¢ Sport Photography refers to the genre of photography that covers all types of sports.
ā¢ Sport photography is usually used in Newspapers, TV (Sky Sports News, Mobile Phone Apps,
Magazines, basically everywhere as Sport is such a worldwide activity. However sport
photography is also used for advertising purposes, both to build a brand and also to promote
a sport in a way that can be accomplished by editorial means.
Sport Photography has changed over the years because the technology has updated and the
quality and quantity has increased. Whereas back in the day photos were made up by film and
nowadays you have cameras and special ones for different types of Photography.

Billboards and loads more.
ā¢ Advertising has changed over time drastically, all ads and
commercials appeal to a certain audiences and genders, it has
changed mainly thanks to technology but new generations
and weāre in the 21st Century now so advertās from now will
be very different to the first ever advert years ago!

Fine Art Photography is photography created to
be used as a decorative image to either be sold
or viewed in a Museum.
Itās used in Houses, Museums, Galleries etc
Itās changed over time as technology has grown
largely and artists come up with new ideas all

viewers through a picture. Used to record life
in a specific time or event.

wildlife.

7. Portrait Photography
ā¢ Portrait Photography is a picture of a singular person or a
small group produced as Art.
ā¢ Itās used for family photos, school photos, ID Pictures and
just photos in generals of yourself of another person.
ā¢ It has changed overtime from going from formal to being
very informal and more relaxed due to the fact when
Portrait photos were taken years ago they were posh
family photos.
