products in Uganda (USAID)
1998 Consultant on the DANIDA supported Creamex project for setting up a dairy plant. The
project entailed identifying a Danish partner for a Ugandan Entrepreneur and traveling to Denmark
to negotiate and conclude a Memorandum of Understanding. Subsequently we also prepared the
feasibility study to secure DANIDA funding of the project
1998-2000 Consultant on the GTZ National Vocational Training System project under the Ministry of
Education and Sports. I consolidated policy frameworks, proposed policy alternatives, , supported
policy advocacy, trained counterpart staff, analyzed financial implications to government arising
from implementation of various policy choices in skills development, carried out stakeholder
analysis and rallied stakeholder ownership and commitment. The Total value of project was US$ 2
million.
1999- 2000 Consultant ICON INSTITUT Consultants for KFW (German Bank for Reconstruction and
development). I assisted 25 Training Centers to develop five-year business plans for funding, on
the basis of financial and other criteria as required by KFW. The total Project value was US $
5million, and the assignment lasted 2 years
