The document describes an app being developed by a team called Optimistic Pessimists to help young adults create simple yet professional CVs. The app allows users to choose from templates or create their own, then easily fill in information to complete their CV. It also allows sharing of completed CVs via social media or email. Market research found many people preferred a template over writing their own CV from scratch. 2.  Our app is aimed at young adults who have left education
looking for a job. These young adults may not know how to
conduct a CV that would appeal to professionals who are
hiring. Our app is going to help young adults to create a CV
that appeals to professionals but has a easy method to
create.

3.  The problem our app is addressing is the unemployment of
young adults fresh out of school and trying to create an easy
solution to ensure that their chances of getting a job
increase.

4.  The core questions we are addressing in this app is:
How to create a simple but professional CV?

5.  From our investigation we found that
many people would find it easier to
have a professional template to follow
rather than having to think of what to
write.

6.  Our team, Optimistic Pessimists, is developing a CV App to
help young adults whom have finishes university or school to
create a simple and professional with a simple fill and go
technique.

7.  From our investigation we can say that;
 89% would use this app and 80% of people would
find this more convenient then writing their own CV.
 We found that 49% of the people we asked would
use this sometimes as opposed to the 15% who said
always.
 62% of the people we used said this would appeal
to 18+ users.

8.  We have found similar apps on the
market however our app is unique
because you are able to choose the
appearance of your app and can easily
share with your friends, family and/or
employers.

9.  A young adult that has just finished school needs to
find a part-time job to cover the expenses of
university and rent. They would like a fast and simple
way t fill in a CV but something that would also
appeal to professional employers.

11.  By clicking ‘Create A New CV’ it
will bring you to this page, which
you can then choose your option
of choosing a pre-made template
or create your own unique
template.

12.  By clicking ‘Choose Existing
Template’ you are brought to this
page, which you can then choose
any pre-made CV template,
where you can view them and
then choose the one you like best.
Some of these may cost you others
are free, you can filter the results if
you wish.

13.  However if you choose the option
to create you own you are
brought to this page where you
can simply choose the options you
like best and you have created
your own template.

14.  After choosing or creating your
template, all you need to do is fill
in your information and you have
completed your CV. Depending
on you what template you choose
you also have the choose to add a
picture.

15.  After filling in your information your
CV is complete and you have the
option to save the CV onto the
app or send to your friends, family
or employers.

16.  From the Menu page, when you
click ‘Edit an existing CV you are
brought to this page which lets you
view and edit any information that
you have entered while creating
the CV.

17.  Also, form the Menu button you
can also go to a settings page
which will allow you to change
certain aspects of the app to
make it more suitable to what you
like.

18.  Our last page in our app is the
Share page which allows you to
share our app with your friends and
family that would also be
interested in our app. WE fill this
would also give as more
customers.

19. Data Feasibility
 Our app does not require any content, expect from the pictures
which is optional if the customer would like to upload.
 It would be optional for the customer to upload their own photos.
 We believe we would need authorization from social media sites
and e-mail providers so that our app can be easily shared.
Technical Feasibility
 Our solution is technically possible.
 A professional developer can develop our app within 1 month.
 Our solution is a fairly simple idea and does not need any
simplifying.

20.  The business model we have chosen is to charge
0.69p for our app because we do not want to
clutter our app with lots of ads however we would
like some sort of income from the app.
 We had no customers pledges.
 Our app does not need any improvements for our
market research had a great response, and many
people liked out app.

 Creating simple YouTube ads.
 Creating a share button in our app.
 Adverting in schools.
