Welcome. We are here today to learn about the possible dangers involving apps and young users. We will also discuss the possible safe guards to use. These apps are popular for people all the way down to 3rd graders. TikTok trends are getting dangerous and little kids want to do them to be popular.
This is a messaging platform that users can voice call, video call, text, send media files, and private chats.
Young users are more vulnerable to give out private information to anyone online.
This app allows users to post and send images with a message that contains confessions.
Anyone can register to use it which means that adults can register to use and pretend to be a teenager
This app allows users to watch other users play video games live and chat about it
Children can give out their personal information and their parents and can get out of giving money to a stranger
Students can keep themselves safe online by: making their accounts private, turning off their locations, and reporting or blocking inappropriate behaviors.
Parents can keep their children safe by : checking their social media accounts, knowing what they are researching, and monitoring their screen time.
Having browser controls to block inappropriate websites and downloading a software.
Young users having so much access to information can be great but can also be a curse. We need to teach students about inter safety at school and at home.
