• - Use Simple Present Tense
• - Use formal language or not slang
• - Targeted subject line, include the job title and a branding
statement
• - Explain the obvious reason why you are writing in
opening statement
• - Explain your accomplishments which the company may
need it to hire you
• - Write politely, effectively, and communicative
4. C. Text Structure
• - Sender : placed on top left. Insert full name, address, and date.
• - Receiver : placed on second top left. Insert full name, address, and
company.
• - Salutation : greetings to the receiver / company.
• - Content : include purpose of writing application letter, source of knowing
the employment, skill that the sender has, the sender’s current situation,
and the reason of applying a job.
• - Closing paragraph : include sender’s contact and the time that the
sender can be reached.
• - Signature : the sender’s signature and full name under it.
