4. Observation Summary
- Most students order from the kiosks
- Those who don’t handwrite on paper
- Students will wait for their food in or around the cafe
- Every order is given a receipt/number
- The Student Center always has more foot traffic near dinnertime
- Students have to wait for their food at the Student Center, as
opposed to grab and go
- Can get very crowded around monitors/kiosks

6. Application Concept
An app that brings the kiosks/monitors onto a user’s mobile
device. This would allow users to order their meals on their
mobile devices, view the amount of orders currently in
progress, and when their order is available. Users will also be
able to view what is available at other stations and vote for
the weekly student’s choice poll.
