Josiah Eck has been practicing cognitive and humanistic therapy methods since high school. After reading a book on mind technology, he improved his grades from failing to above average in one semester. He has traveled to India twice and experienced extreme poverty, which led him to question consumerism. He was diagnosed with ADHD as a child and prescribed medication. After being bitten by a tick in India, he experienced undiagnosed Lyme disease for eight years, causing anxiety attacks. He turned to drinking and ended up in jail, but learned about addiction through therapy. He now looks for truths in human psychology and notices unconscious power within all living things.
