The Cat in the Hat is a picture book, written and illustrated by Theodor Geisel under the pen name
Doctor Seuss. The book was published in 1957 and follows the actions of an eccentric
anthropomorphic cat who wears a red and white striped hat, colloquially named The Cat in the Hat.
When the cat invades the house of two children, Sally and Conrad, while their mum is out, he is

Cognitive Learning Theory Cognitive theorists try to explain human behavior by understanding
how we process and store new information. The cognitive theories of learning originated from the
gestalt theory. The three major contributors to the cognitive learningtheories were Jean Piaget,
Edward Tolman, and Albert Bandura. In this paper, I will evaluate the work of all three theorists,
demonstrate an understanding of the theory, and explain how the theory can be applied to our

always enjoyed Lee s way of writing and I am glad she decided to switch the person up a bit from
first to third. I would recommend this book to a friend only to read it and seeing what it is all
about. i would do this only because I didn t like it very much as I mentioned before. I did enjoy
reading it, but not necessarily the way I came to read

How Does Tally Change In Uglies By Westerfeld
In Uglies by Westerfeld, the main character, Tally goes through changes through out the book,
like Tally s decision on becoming a pretty and her choice of going to the Smoke. Tally
Youngblood is the protagonist in the novel Uglies. Throughout the story, Tally Youngblood
experiences a lot of changes. As Tally s character experience these changes, her perspective on
turning pretty had changed while meeting Shay helped Tally become more rebellious. One
could see Tally s character changing when she goes to the smoke for the first time. While Tally
is at the smoke she experience work for the first time, like when she went to the railroad to pull
up the track. While Tally was working on the railroad she realized that life isn t just all about fun
and parties: There was something comforting about the exhaustion of hard work... her mind shut
off the moment her head hit the pillow (Westerfeld 218). As Tally and David became closer,
David told Tally that he was born in the Smoke, and he told Tally about his parents. After David
