2. Camera
Canon 5D-
The 5D has a DIGIC II processor and a 35.8 x 23.9 mm full-frame CMOS
sensor with 13.3 million pixels (12.7 megapixel effective) and a pixel
density of 1.5 megapixels per square centimeter.
I find that using a Canon 5D is really practical mainly because I am
familiar with its features and how to use it from creating an opening
sequence in the previous year. The camera has a range of features which
enable me to create high quality scenes using: zoom, exposure,
aperture, autofocus and several physical dimensions.
The only issue I had to face is the battery, as I needed to use the camera
for long hours in different setting during the day. I dealt with this issue
by taking an extra battery with me and making sure the camera was fully
charged before I begin to use it.

3. GoPro
I used the GoPro Hero 8 black, in order to film the flashback scenes. it
creates a slight fish eye lens which helps the audience differentiate from
the current day scenes from flash backs. due to the fact that the go pro is
hand held, i am also able to create a more realistic view in the boys point
of view as well as puts the audience in the characters position specifically
the boy perspective of the dates. it puts more focus on the girl and
simultaneously puts the audience in the boys shoes to give an
understanding of how he might be feeling or what he might be doing in
the situation.

4. Tripod
The tripod was easy it is to use, compact, and lightweight while still being super
high quality and it comes with a little carrying bag which is handy for taking it
outdoors in which I had to move around quite a lot in order to gather as many
shots in different settings as possible. I was able to use the tripod with ease as I
was taught how to use it in the previous year (AS). This included changing the
height from the legs of the tripod, screwing and sliding the camera onto the
tripod and changing the angle and direction in which the camera is facing. With
this previously learnt knowledge, using the tripod was extremely effective and I
avoided wasting time.
The tripod was mainly used for the bedroom scenes in order to get a wide and
steady view of the room, aside from that, a couple of flashback scenes I used the
tripod to create a sense of control and focus towards the date scenes.

5. Ring light
I used a ring light in my photoshoot for my digipak. Billie Eilish’s
album and her style of music is very dark in terms of meanings of her
lyrics. Therefore it is important for me to reflect the genre and
atmosphere of her music in the album cover. The ring light allows me
to filter out a specific colored light to create a tone and a mood. For
example, if I decide to emphasize the red light, it would create an
atmosphere based on love or passion, or on the other hand it could
also create a demonic sensation, the girl could be portrayed as evil or
unfeminine.
