         impassable gorge
REFLECTION
State your theme in a sentence. Describe your story.
How does your story relate to your theme?

My theme is “anything’s possible.” My story relates to my
theme because the protagonist, a red circle, keeps on
trying to cross the gap. At first, it seems impossible. He
keeps on trying to get across, yet he keeps falling.
However, despite the task’s seeming impossibility, he
manages to cross the gap through perseverance and
believing in himself, showing that anything is possible if you
  just try hard enough.

How can you communicate meaning by only using
  shapes?

Many shapes have a sort of universal meaning for people. For
example, sharp shapes are scary and smooth shapes are
welcoming. You can use these techniques to show bad and
good, as well as deeper emotions. Also, shapes can be
used to convey characters – protagonists and antagonists,
allowing for an ending with a moral or character role model
  for you to relate to.
REFLECTION
Where do you see symbols in your own life? How
does perception and association play a role in
your own life as you interpret the symbols around
  you?

Often times, symbols are used to subconsciously define
whether or not you like something. Villains in movies are
often shown in dark colors, making you dislike them more.
Also, symbols used to show companies and businesses use
these techniques to endear themselves to costumers, even
   without the costumers realizing it.
