This document contains the responses to a questionnaire on a Uniform Civil Code in India. The respondent opposes the implementation of a Uniform Civil Code for several reasons: 1) A Uniform Civil Code would violate citizens' fundamental right to freedom of religion granted by the Constitution. Citizens have the right to follow the laws and customs of the religion they choose. 2) There is no need to change personal laws as citizens voluntarily accept the laws of the religion they follow. No one is compelled to follow a particular religion against their will. 3) Implementing a Uniform Civil Code could amount to manipulating society and infringing on fundamental rights. There are currently no issues that require changing personal laws in the name of public order,
