The passage describes an experience the author had on a bus ride two months ago. While feeling uncomfortable due to the crowded conditions, the author was surprised to run into an old neighbor, Hui-ting, on the bus. Though they had not seen each other for years, they decided to catch up over dinner. Since reconnecting with Hui-ting, the author now enjoys daily bus rides despite the crowds, as the bus rides have become something the author loves.

The combination of products and ancillary texts for a music artist's release effectively reinforce the brand identity. Across the poster, digipack, and music video, consistent elements like camera shots, fonts, logos, color schemes, and emphasis on the performer and guitar create a cohesive narrative and synergize the materials. Following conventions like focusing on the artist and acoustic instrumentation helps tell the story being conveyed in the song.
We used Adobe Premier Pro and Photoshop to edit our music video and create promotional materials. We had limited editing experience and encountered challenges with timing and computer access for editing. We filmed using a Canon DSLR with natural and artificial lighting, and shared the final video on YouTube and Facebook to gather feedback.
The media product follows conventions of acoustic music videos by including a guitarist and emphasizing the performer. It uses other acoustic music videos as guidelines to incorporate expected elements like a guitarist playing and a guitar case. The product aims to match the genre by not breaking any conventions, keeping color schemes and fonts consistent across promotional materials. Shots of the lone performer against green backgrounds and in a studio with low lighting further symbolize feelings of isolation, aligning with the breakup theme of the song.
The document summarizes audience feedback from questionnaires about a music video and accompanying marketing materials:
- Questionnaires were handed out before and after viewing the music video to gauge audience opinions.
- Feedback indicated that while the song and video quality were good, the performer's guitar playing and lip syncing did not appear genuine.
- Respondents also felt the color schemes and designs of the marketing materials like the poster and digital did not harmonize well with the subject matter of the song.

The document summarizes the results of questionnaires given to the target audience of a student-created music video and its related media products. Some audience members felt the lip syncing was off in parts of the video and the guitar playing looked fake. However, most agreed the poster and packaging harmonized well with the video and song. The student acknowledges the lip syncing and guitar playing feedback but felt the location shooting and camera angles successfully portrayed the singer in a superior light after a break up. Overall the student followed conventions of music video genres and is satisfied with the feedback and final products.
This document evaluates a magazine cover design. The summary includes:

- Care was taken to incorporate the magazine's title "Echo" into the masthead typography and maintain a consistent red and black color scheme throughout the issue.

What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
1. What kind of media institution might
distribute your media product and
why?
2. Who distributes magazines?
There’s a range of different publishers for
different magazines. The most known ones are
Bauer, Time Warner and NME.
I would use Bauer to produce my magazine
because firstly they do not produce any
magazines of this music genre therefore my
magazine will be published by them.
Secondly they publish internationally so my
magazine would be published around the
world.
3. Who produced your example
of an existing magazine?
“Development Hell” published my
example of the magazine. They bought it
over EMAP in the 90s and have owned it
since.
4. Where is your magazine likely
to be sold?
My music magazine would be sold online
and at specialist shops that deal with EDM
related items such headphones or mixers.
I chose these locations because I
consider it a niche magazine and not
everyone would buy it so it would have to
be in shops that people would know they
can find the magazine
