2. A big CONGRATULATIONS goes out to the senior boys
volleyball team as they won their first playoff game
against Unity Christian last night. It was not our best
game but the boys pushed through and came out with the
win. Please wish the boys luck as they will travel to
Romeo Dallaire on Thursday.

3. University and College Application Workshops
If you are applying for college or university for next September you
should consider participating in one of our lunchtime application
workshops.

7. Computer Coding Workshop
Are you interested in computers, technology, and the ever expanding field
of coding? Well this is the opportunity for you!
The Clearview Youth Centre, in partnership with Stayner Collegiate, and
with the support of ISO Water, will be hosting a computer coding workshop
her at SCI on Wednesday November 7th between 3-5pm. Whether you’re
an absolute computer newbie or a seasoned coding veteran, this workshop
will have something for you.
If you’re interested, contact Mr. Murray in Guidance or Mike Fish at the
Youth Centre.

8. Medical School Info Session for Students
• University of Toronto Family Medicine and RVH are partnering with
Simcoe County school boards to present “What to Expect at Medical
School.” If you or a family member are interested in a future career in
medicine, then please join us at Bear Creek Secondary School on
Tuesday, November 27th at 6 p.m. Tests, finances, schedules and more
will be discussed first-hand by residents, current med students and
the teaching unit of U of T Family Medicine. See guidance to sign up!
