1. Design and development activity
 Reverse engineering (modeling &drafting) of rotopuddler.
 Key areas: 3 point linkage of rotopuddler, designing of puddler
shaft and blades, Selection of sprocket and chain design,
Material specification.
 Reverse engineering of paddy transplanter finger.
 Field analysis of various field failures: chain breakage, water seepage,
noise problem, 3-point linkage fitment with tractor.
 Inspection of rotopuddler technical parameters and quality.
 Design up gradation and addition of new design features in rotopuddler
to overcome the field failures.
 Minor field failure analysis in TOT harvester.

 Basic parameters of testing undertaken for both fallen and standing crop

wheat fields.
 Market study and comparison of different TOT harvesters
 Testing of TOT (FT 6065+balkar/dashmesh harvester) done at
different locations in Punjab and Andhra Pradesh.
3. Market study on various potential paddy transplanter sources in
china and south East Asian countries
 Online information compilation for prominent four wheel drive and
walk behind transplanter companies.
 Features like no. of rows, row to row transplanting distance and fuel
consumption were the prime features of the study.
4. Sales promotion activity for FT6065 TOT harvester and rotopuddler
in west Bengal.
 Organizing harvester training program for sales & service team. Also
worked as a language translator in conducting the training sessions.
 Organizing product demo sessions for customers.
 Regular customer visit sessions to fasten the follow-up process.
 Creating product awareness programs like telecaller feedback and
television advertisements.
 Establishing systematic enquiry track down processes at dealers end.
