WORK EXPERIENCE
Testing Engineer Oct 2015 – Apr 2016
Bharat Group of Laboratories, Rai, Haryana, India
Working as a Testing Engineer, my job responsibility includes testing of diesel engines, automotive tyres and home
appliances as per Indian standard norms. I have clear knowledge on IS 10000 (Methods of tests for internal combustion
engines), IS 14155, IS 15750, IS 15636, IS 15627 and IS 13098. Alongside my responsibility of testing products as per
Indian standards I managed to handle management control, documentation in sample cell unit, quality documentation
and filing of test certificates. My periodical check includes internal verification of test equipments and calibration
certificates.
Powertrain Engineer September 2013 – September 2014
Brunel Masters Motorsport 10, Brunel University, London, UK
Working as part of a team of 23 graduate engineers from varied engineering backgrounds and cultures, the team’s efforts
are focused towards participation in the formula Student Class 2 competition at Silverstone circuit in July 2014. Alongside
my technical responsibility of Drivetrain development and Stress analysis I am responsible for the management and
collaboration with the other sub group’s and our overall contribution to the team effort. My main managerial tasks are
concerned with Project Management, including task allocation, risk management and interface management.

SKILLS
Project Management
These skills were developed through my time acting as Powertrain Vice-Coordinator for BMM10, as Vice-Coordinator I
was responsible for the action and contribution of the group to the teams overall effort. This role required the use of
project planning techniques including production and use of Gant charts to monitor progress, and the production and
application of flow charts for change and interface management.
Technical
Competency with Solidworks CAD and Matlab softwares through frequent use for Automotive design throughout my
degree courses at Brunel University. Highly conversant with Microsoft office and Adobe Packages. Experience of
Manufacturing processes, especially Welding, Turning and Milling which were most recently applied to Formula Student
component manufacture.
Analytical and Problem Solving
I have exceptional analytical and problem solving skills developed throughout my education and work experience. As an
engineer I am constantly required to exercise these skills therefore continuously improving them.
Personal Traits
An independent and self-motivated professional with excellent research and writing skills. A flexible team member, able
to grow positive and healthy relationship with colleagues at all organizational levels. Lived and travelled abroad,
developing a keen sensitivity to people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Experimental investigation of Nano coated two wheeler engine using Gasoline- Alcohol blends Oct 2012- Apr 2013
Examined the performance and emission characteristics of Nano coated two wheeler engine using petrol and
different blends as fuel. The piston was coated with Nano particle and a blend of gasoline with six different
alcohols are used
The result was analyzed using six gas emission sensor and the carbon monoxide, Nitrox level in the exhaust
was less than 8% compared to graphs of normal combustion
Recognized by the faculty and selected as the best project for innovation, work completed and result achieved
Formula Student UK 2014 September 2013 – July 2014
Single seater racing car was designed and optimized in collaboration with a team of 23 members consisting of
engineers from more than 10 nations to participate in Formula Student UK class 2 competition being held at
Silverstone race circuit in UK in 2014.
Played the role of drivetrain engineer which involves the design and development of sprocket, differential and
driveshaft and selection of appropriate final drive ratio for better performance
An Analytical Model for Cylinder Pressure in Four stroke SI engines February 2014 – September 2014
Developed an analytical model for cylinder pressure in four stroke SI engine using the parametric equation
estimation method of standard Otto cycle
Developed a Matlab program to attain a cylinder pressure curve for complete operating cycle and compared the
results with the values generated using EXCEL in order to check the accuracy of the model
