Our city

- Benefits of VE include giving students experiential and collaborative learning, developing transversal skills like intercultural competence, and offering opportunities for professional development for teachers.

1) The Istituto Comprensivo Statale "M.G. Cutuli" Crotone is composed of three schools located in the same buildings: a kindergarten, primary school, and secondary school.
2) The secondary school is named after journalist Maria Grazia Cutuli, who was killed in Afghanistan in 2001, in order to honor her work promoting humanitarian values.
3) The school aims to strengthen its European dimension through eTwinning projects, which allow collaboration between teachers and students in different European countries online.

- 2. what are the extracurricular activities ? During the school year high school students, can attend extra school activities of different types in or outside school. These activities can be useful to increase the number of training credits given during the triennium. The extracurricular activated aren’t compulsory and they take place after school or during the weekend and every single student can freely choose which take part in based on their interests and on their needs. Students who are interested in taking part of courses or any other type of extracurricular activities can ask about them at the secretary of our own school, also if you want to know which activities will be activated during the school year. Last April 11th, at the Foyer of the Ponchielli Theater in Cremona, the awards ceremony was held for students from Cremona high schools who took part in the "Right to Criticism" competition for the 2018 prose season. Like every year the Theater Foundation Ponchielli, in collaboration with the newspaper La Provincia and his theater critic Nicola Arrigoni, have proposed to high school students to become theatrical critics, writing reviews of the shows seen with their peers and led by their teachers.
