What is Angle?
In geometry, an angle is the figure formed by two rays, called the sides
of the angle, sharing a common endpoint, called the vertex of the angle.
This angle can be named as ∠ AOB or ∠BOA
Types of Angles
1. ZERO ANGLE
2. ACUTE ANGLE
3. RIGHT ANGLE
4. OBTUSE ANGLE
5. STRAIGHT ANGLE
6. REFLEX ANGLE
7. COMPLETE ANGLE
ZERO ANGLE
An angle with a
measure of zero
degree 0° is called a
zero angle.
ACUTE ANGLE
Acute Angle: an
angle whose
measure is less
than 90°
RIGHT ANGLE
Right Angle: an
angle whose
measure is
exactly 90 °.
OBTUSE ANGLE
Obtuse Angle: an
angle whose
measure is between
90 ° and 180°
STRAIGHT ANGLE
Straight Angle: an
angle that is exactly
180 °
REFLEX ANGLE
Reflex angle is more than
180° but less than
360° is called a Reflex
angle.
COMPLETE ANGLE / FULL ANGLE
Complete angle is 360°
is called a complete
angle.
