ANGLE
An Angle is the figure formed by two rays,
called the sides of the angle, sharing a
common endpoint, called the vertex of the
angle.
ANGLE
ACUTE ANGLE
An Angle which is measuring less than 90
degrees is called an acute angle. This angle is
smaller than the right angle.
 For example, ∠30o, ∠45o, ∠60o, ∠75o, ∠33o,
∠55o, ∠85o, etc.
EXAMPLES
RIGHT ANGLE
When two straight lines intersect each other
at 90˚ or are perpendicular to each other at
the intersection, they form the right angle. A
right angle is represented by the symbol ∟.
EXAMPLES
OBTUSE ANGLE
An obtuse angle is an angle which is
greater than 90° and less than 180°
Some examples of obtuse angle degrees
are 110°, 135°, 150°, 179°, 91°
EXAMPLES
STRAIGHT ANGLE
A straight Angle is an angle equal to 180
degrees. It is called straight because it
appears as a straight line.
Example 180 degree
