Tanghalan ng Mag-aaral National Universities & Colleges Theater Conference towards the formation of a strong regional and national network of student-artist-leaders 1st national theater formation for students aimed at making theater an integral part of community life. Will test the possibility of sustaining a support machinery for theater activities specific to the educational community.

10. The NCCA Recognizes the true worth of this project as contributory to the development of Philippine culture & arts pursuant to R.A. 7356.

R.A. 7356 Mandates the NCCA to encourage the continuing and balanced development of a pluralistic culture by the people, conserve and promote the nation’s cultural heritage, ensure the widest dissemination of artistic and cultural products and preserve and integrate traditional culture and its various creative expressions as a dynamic part of the national and cultural mainstream.
12. TaMa Components Four (4) regional universities & colleges Theater Conferences in Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao & NCR. Aimed to discuss and lobby the formation of an organized network of artists in the universities Each regional conference will select/elect four individuals (1 adviser & 3 students) to participate in the National Conference to be held in September 26-27, 2011 at the University of Makati.
13. National Conference Finalize the organizational structure The VMOS / CORE Values Modes of collaboration and interaction among theater organizations & institutions Election of CORE Officers Discussion & agreement of concrete short-term & long-term Plans of Action.
14. The C.A.S.T. Implements the project together with other NCR Student Theater allies Coordinate with participants & guests Prepare venue Prepare program flow & contents Attend regular consultative meetings to further smoothen the implementation processes and be able to address glitches that may arise in the course of implementation.
15. Learning Process A great opportunity to collaborate and learn from each other. Responds to the CAST Vision in molding student-artist-leaders.
16. UMak Will be placed in the history of Philippine theater where the formation of the NUCTO first started. Complies with the Umak ACTS agenda of making Makati the CENTER for CULTURE and ARTS in Metro Manila.

Needs: Conference Venue for 30-50 people (Mini Theater or HB 817) Food & Catering area for the participants (Employees Lounge) Area for small group discussions (Executive Lounge) 1 Rosa bus to transport delegates from airport to hotel; from hotel to conference venue and vice versa A space to post the conference tarpaulin a week before the event.
