The document discusses the album cover design for The Chemical Brothers' album "We Are the Night" and how it conveys their alternative style. The album cover features an obscure central image and dark, bleak colors that draw the viewer's eye without being attention-grabbing. This unconventional design establishes The Chemical Brothers' character as laidback artists who stand apart from mainstream album cover conventions.

The Chemical Brothers are alternative djing duo and fall under the genres of ‘indie’. This is apparent as they have a very
individual style in terms of their music and their persona. The album cover for We Are the Night is a large example of how
alternative The Chemical Brothers are. They do not use mainstream album cover connotations such as their actual faces being
shown or something that may be relevant to tracks on the album.
