• The endocrine system is a complex network of glands and organs. It uses
hormones to control and coordinate your body's metabolism, energy level,
reproduction, growth and development.
• Pancreatic islets
• Pancreatic islets are the group of cell in our pancreas. Also known as (islets of
langerhans) the pancreas is an organ that make hormones to break down food.
• Islets include several type of cells like beta cell that form insulin hormone.
