We created a survey to find out more information about the general film audience
We conducted a survey to learn more about the audience for horror films in preparation for making a horror film. The survey was posted online and received 19 responses. Most respondents were young females who enjoy watching films in the evening with friends. Horror was a popular genre among respondents, with supernatural horror cited as the favorite subgenre. Based on these results, the document concludes that the filmmakers will make a supernatural horror film for their project that fits the preferences expressed in the survey.

Analysis of Feedback
- 1. Analysis of feedback The majority of feedback given to us from the focus group was positive feedback. The types of feed back given was that they liked the idea of smoke and the connotations it has: untouchable, dispersing and an inanimate object and how this links to the story line of the song as the protagonist has lost her boyfriend and can no longer touch him. The agreed that the colour scheme of blues, greys and black and how it links to the tone and mood of the songs. Finally they also liked the idea of the horse running in the field and how it will be representative of her chasing after her lone interest, the thought that this would fit with the genre of the song, Indie Pop. We did however get so changes that we should make to the scene in the studio with the smoke, light and the male and female characters as silhouettes. The focus group felt that it would be confusing to the audience to introduce the boy into the video with the young woman. They thought that we should just have the silhouette of the man and not have the woman. We took this feedback on board however we felt as though the music video needs to have both the male and female in the scene as we felt as though it would make the video appear to be mainly focused on the male when it is about both the male and female.
