o Regularly reviewing performance indicators, e.g. sales and discount levels
o Managing plans for stock levels
o Reacting to changes in demand
o Meeting Brands/Distributors/Suppliers and negotiating terms of contract
o Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products
o Liaising with other departments within the organisation to ensure projects are completed
o Attending trade fairs, road shows and assemble a new collection of products
o Participating in promotional activities
o Writing reports and forecasting sales levels
o Presenting new ranges to senior category managers
o Seeking merchandise feedback from customers
o Training and mentoring junior staff
o Work on Brand/Vendor Registration
o Organise samples and product information and hand it over to creative team and content team respectively
o Get data from Brand and process PO
o Follow up and make sure merchandise gets delivered to warehouse on time
o Get the inventory updated in the system and maintain the schedule planned to go live
o Track sales day on a daily basis and activate replenishment orders
