Mrs. Ealy's 2nd grade class had a successful field trip to Indian Springs where the students learned about the water and plant life cycles. They are preparing for their upcoming Unit 10 math test on place value and adding/subtracting 2-digit numbers by practicing estimating money amounts and figuring out change. The students also participated in a spring cleanup outside and are excited to see what plants bloom. There are only 6 weeks left of school and Mrs. Ealy is looking for volunteers to help plan the end of year party.

Mrs. Ealy's 2nd grade class had a successful field trip to Indian Springs where the students learned about the water and plant life cycles. They are preparing for their upcoming Unit 10 math test on place value and adding/subtracting 2-digit numbers by practicing estimating money amounts and figuring out change. The students also participated in a spring cleanup outside and are excited to see what plants bloom. There are only 6 weeks left of school and Mrs. Ealy is looking for volunteers to help plan the end of year party.

Greek and Polish students from an e-twinning project answered questions about their school lives. The Greek students attended a school with 59 students that started at 8:15 and finished at 14:00, with 5-6 breaks. They had around 95 days of holidays per year and studied English and French but couldn't choose their subjects. The Polish students attended a larger school of over 400 students that started at 8:00 and finished at 14:30, with 6 breaks. They had 2 months of summer holiday and 2 weeks in winter, studied English, German and could choose their PE classes. Both groups of students wished each other good health, happiness and for their dreams to come true.
