AMOS Health and Hope  is a Christian non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of people suffering from the unjust conditions of poverty. Our Mission  is improve the health of impoverished communities by working alongside them in health, education, and development.
Children suffer malnutrition as a result of  soil-borne parasites.
Diarrheal diseases are prevalent for lack of clean water.
AMOS trains  local leaders  to provide preventive healthcare for these isolated rural communities.
This model is  portable,  sustainable,  and effective.
It is  evidence-based , with clear records and regular supervision.

Latrines  help keep water sources clean.
Filters  help eliminate water-borne parasites & bacteria.
Hygiene education  helps to change unhealthy practices and  prevent the spread of disease.
Essential medicines  help prevent illnesses from becoming crises.
Regular accompaniment  by professional doctors & nurses helps to ensure quality care.
Participatory education  helps to facilitate maximum community involvement & ownership.
Organization  empowers communities to identify and solve their own problems.
El Ayote, RAAS 1232 AMOS helped serve  over 13,000 people in  27 communities  in 2010, including 14 new communities that requested assistance.
