Helping Children Worldwide (HCW) is a non-profit organization focused on transforming the lives of impoverished children in Sierra Leone through various programs. It operates the Child Rescue Centre, which currently supports 70 children in residence, and the Mercy Hospital that serves 900 patients monthly with essential health care. Additionally, Connections for Hope provides integrated services to families in need, promoting self-sufficiency and education.

AFRICAN PROGRAMS, SIERRA LEONE Child Rescue Centre Started with 40 children in 2000 The CRC develops and transforms poverty-stricken and war-affected children into adults who become strong leaders in their homes, their communities, and their country of Sierra Leone. Currently 70 in residential program, 150 in child support program, and 24 in foster care program 8 youth went to college this year , joining the 13 other student that are currently in university or vocational training programs
