DeŶise Kish earŶed her Bachelor’s aŶd Master’s degrees froŵ CeŶtral MichigaŶ UŶiǀersity. She ǁorked
for over 30 years as a consultant, instructional coach, principal, and teacher in the United States
(Michigan, Missouri, and Ohio). Staying up-to-date educationally is very important to Denise, and she
has attended numerous national and international conferences and continued taking college classes
throughout her career.
Denise has presented locally and regionally to school boards, administrators, and teachers. In addition,
she served as a panel presenter at the national Superintendency Institute of America Summer
Conference. Her former district school earned awards for exceptional student performance and being a
highly effective school. Denise has been named as a Regional Middle School Principal of the Year in
Michigan and Instructor of the Year when teaching at the collegiate level. Denise joined Al-Mizhar
American Academy in August 2014.
