SIC products are used as linings and bricks in aluminum electrolytic cells and furnaces due to their high hardness, strength at high temperatures, and corrosion resistance to alkalis and acids. SiC composite products combined with carbon blocks can form the side walls of electrolytic cells, allowing continuous construction and good felting hardness up to 1200°C while providing wear and oxidation resistance. Si3N4 bonded SiC is specifically used as outlet bricks and lining for aluminum cells, reaction pots, and melting chambers due to its low thermal expansion, high thermal conductivity, and long lifetime.

Application:
Being lining and outlet bricks for Aluminum electrolytic cell, reaction pot of chemical
industry and melting chamber of high temperature furnace, and pipes for aluminum
transportation.
Characteristic:
Long use life with high hardness, high strength with high temperature, good wear
resistance, good corrosion resistance, and good alkali and acid corrosion resistance,
lower linear expansion and high thermal conductivity.
(2) SiC Composite products for Side-Wall of aluminum electrolytic cell
Application:
(i) For electrolytic cell of SiC products with carbon blocks combined.
(ii) Used in powder metallurgy, industrial kiln, nonferrous melting furnace
Characteristic:
Construction and solidifying at room temperature, good affinity with SiC products and
carbon blocks, good felting hardness and continuously construction, Which used
temperature is under 1200℃. Good wear and oxidation resistance, and good thermal
shock resistance.
