Artinya: "Dia mengajarkan manusia apa yang tidak diketahuinya.

3. ISI KANDUNGAN
Surah al-Alaq ayat 1-5 berisi perintah Allah Swt. kepada Nabi
Muhammad saw, untuk membaca. Surah al-'Alaq adalah surah pertama
yang diturunkan Allah Swt. kepada Nabi Muhammad saw. sebagai
tanda kerasulannya. Surah al-'Alaq ayat 1-5 diturunkan ketika Nabi
Muhammad saw, sedang berkhalwat di Gua Hira. Ketika turun perintah
membaca, Nabi Muhammad saw, dalam keadaan ummi, tidak bisa
membaca dan menulis. Perintah membaca ini tidak hanya ditujukan
kepada Nabi Muhammad saw., melainkan seluruh umat Islam. Perintah
membaca dengan menyebut nama Allah Swt. Membaca tidak hanya
berarti membaca tulisan, tetapi dalam arti luas, yaitu membaca dan
memikirkan ciptaan Allah Swt., kemudian mengambil hikmah atas
penciptaan alam semesta dan seluruh isinya. Membaca tidak terbatas
pada ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an, namun juga ayat-ayat kauniyah di alam
semesta.

4. • Hikmah berharga dari Surah al-'Alaq ayat 1-5 adalah membaca sebagai perintah
pertama kali yang disebut oleh Al-Qur'an. Membaca dalam bahasa Arab disebut
qara'a yang ber- arti 'menghimpun'. Kemudian berkembang artinya menjadi
menelaah, meneliti, membaca, menyampaikan, dan mengetahui ciri-cirinya.
Perintah membaca, meneliti, menghimpun, dan menelaah yang disebut pada
ayat pertama Surah al-'Alaq tersebut dikaitkan dengan kata bismi rabbika
(dengan nama Tuhanmu). Pengaitan ini merupakan syarat sehingga menuntut
dari si pembaca bukan sekadar melakukan bacaan dengan ikhlas, tetapi juga
memilih bahan-bahan bacaan yang tidak mengantarkannya kepada hal-hal yang
bertentangan dengan nama Allah.Allah Swt. adalah sumber ilmu pengetahuan.
Oleh karena itu, menuntut ilmu harus didasari niat ikhlas untuk mendapatkan
rida dari Allah Swt.. Jika menuntut ilmu didasarkan untuk mendapatkan
kehidupan di dunia, niscaya pahala tidak akan mengalir dan ilmu pengetahuan
yang didapatkan tidak bermanfaat. Orang muslim yang mempunyai niat mencari
ilmu karena Allah akan mendapat manfaat dan pahala dari-Nya.

Dengan di deklarasikan nya Trikora,mulailah konfrontasi total Indonesia terhadap Belanda di Papua.
menindaklanjuti Trikora,langkah selanjutnya yang dilakukan presiden Soekarno adalah dengan mengeluarkan
keputusan presiden no 1 tahun 1962 yang berisi tentang pmbentukan komando Mandala pembebasan irian
barat dibawah pimpinan Brigjen Soeharto selaku panglima Mandala. Belanda awalnya menganggap enteng
komando Mandala. Belanda menganggap pasukan Indonesia tidak akan mampu melakukan infiltrasi. ketika
infiltrasi Indonesia berhasil dan menduduki kota teminabuan. Belanda terpaksa melakukan perundingan
dengan Indonesia. Pada tanggal 15 Agustus 1962 Elleworth Bunker menjadi pihak penengah dari PBB
dilaksanakanlah perjanjian antara Indonesia dan Belanda di kota New York. sehingga perjanjian ini dikenal
dengan perjanjian new York. Isi perjanjian tersebut, yakni: • Pemerintah Belanda akan menyerahkan Irian
Barat kepada penguasa pelaksana sementara PBB, yaitu United Nation Temporary Executive Authority
(UNTEA) pada 1 Oktober 1962.• Pada 1 Oktober 1062, bendera PBB akan berkibar di Irian Barat
berdampingan dengan bendera Belanda. Selanjutnya akan diturunkan pada 31 Desember 1962 dan
digantikan bendera IndIndonesia mendampingi bendera PBB>• Pemerintah UNTEA berakhir pada 1 Mei
1963 dan pemerintah selanjutnya diserahkan kepada pihak Indonesia.• Pemulangan orang-orang sipil dan
militer Belanda harus selesai pada 1 Mei 1963.•Rakyat Irian Barat diberi kesempatan untuk menyatakan
pendapatnya tetap di wilayah Indonesia atau memisahkan diri.•Kemudian diselenggarakan Pepera
(Penentuan Pendapat Rakyat). Hasil Pepera disetujui pada 19 Desember 1969 dan membuktikan bawah
Irian Barat bagian dari Indoenesia.Berdasarkan hasil perjanjian new York yang telah disepakati, Indonesia
harus menyelenggarakan Pepera.sayangnya terjadi kekacauan politik di indonesia.salah satunya terjadi
gerakan G30S PKI yang menyebabkan presiden Soekarno harus turun dari jabatannya karena pada masa
itulah PEPERA dilakukan pada masa orde baru dimana Indonesia dipimpin oleh presiden Soeharto. pada
tanggal 19 nov 1969, Fernando Ortis Sanz membawa hasil PEPERA dalam sidang umum PBB ke-24.PBB
