Allen Cook is seeking an entry-level position where he can gain knowledge and experience. He has worked as a package handler for UPS since 2015 and as a youth camp counselor in the summer of 2014. Cook is currently enrolled at Prairie State College pursuing an associate's degree in Liberal Arts with plans to transfer to a four-year university for a bachelor's degree in Social Work. He graduated from Momence High School in 2014 where he was involved in various sports including track, football, and basketball.

United Parcel Service August, 2015 - Present
Currently working as a package handler for UPS, loading and unloading freight trucks with packages weighing
anywhere between 25-70 lbs. Member of Chicagoland Regional College Program, working part time in
exchange for reimbursement for tuition, books, and educational supplies.
Garden of Prayer Youth Camp May 2014 – August 2014
Spent summer break from college working as a youth camp counselor for children ranging in ages between 5 -
12. Provided mentorship to children, while organizing various activities and games, and chaperoning a number
of field trips.

Currently enrolled full time as a Liberal Arts student with a projected graduation of May, 2017. Goals to
transfer to a 4-year university to pursue a bachelors degree in Social Work.

Participated in many sports activities through out high school, including Varsity Track and Field, Varsity

Skills
As a full time student, work experience has been limited, however I bring to the table an eagerness to learn
with a strong sense of integrity and accountability. Participating in team sports for most of my life, I come with
a strong sense of teamwork and dependability, always willing to assist classmates and coworkers where
appropriate.
