I am writing this letter in support of Alicia Gervais and would recommend, without reservation,
that she be considered for the Humber College Entrance Scholarship.
Alicia was an outstanding student of mine at Collingwood Collegiate Institute from 2011-2014.
On a daily basis she embraced all of the Simcoe County District School Board’s Character Traits
which included: Cooperation, Integrity, Inclusiveness, Courage, Caring, Honesty, Respect,
Optimism, Responsibility and Empathy.
Alicia had excellent attendance and was never tardy. She was determined to master new skills
and always made time to assist her peers. Alicia’s positive attitude towards learning was
refreshing. She was always helpful in ensuring that the class ran smoothly. She made
constructive suggestions that were implemented into the program which in turn aided not only
myself but the other students in the classroom.
Humber College must be very proud to have this young lady as one of their students. She will be
a wonderful ambassador for the Fashion Arts program.
It would be my recommendation that Alicia be considered for this award. She is a committed
student who will work diligently to achieve the best results for herself, her peers, instructors, and
the college as a whole.
