BloodGrid is a network created by students in Visakhapatnam, India to connect voluntary blood donors with those in need of blood donations. Their goal is to help solve the problem of blood shortages in the region through an online platform. They maintain a database of donors and work to directly connect those needing blood to available donors. They hope to eventually expand their services throughout Andhra Pradesh to help more people. The organization is run through various teams focused on tasks like operations, fundraising, outreach and technology to most effectively achieve their mission.

2. WHO WE ARE?
 BloodGrid is the outcome of few innovative and
responsible youth from Visakhapatnam.
 The core idea behind BloodGrid is from Vignan
Students and many students from other colleges
too joined us after realizing the change it can bring
in the society.
 The inspiration for this initiative is our belief in
“Technology 4 Humanity” which strives to cater
the needs of Humanity using Technology.
 We have very strong commitment towards
BloodGrid to bring the best possible change in the
society.

3. WHAT WE HOPE TO DO?
MISSION
BloodGrid works to help the humanity by bridging the gap
between voluntary blood donors and acceptors to cater the
blood requirement in and around Vizag.
VISION
 We envision to be the torchbearer to solve very tough
social problems which have no perfect solutions till now.
 In the next 2 years ,we aim to solve the problem of blood
shortage in and around Visakhapatnam .
 By the 3rd year ,we are looking forward to extend our
services throughout Andhra Pradesh.

 Educate people about blood donation :
We feel it necessary to educate the community
about the importance of blood donation through a
series of awareness programs.
 Future plans:
In future we plan to fight against the social
problems of related to education, health and justice
and many more.

5. BLOODGRID IN ACTION
 Blood grid is an interconnected network for delivering blood
from donors to recipients. No need to run after a blood bank !
If you need blood for an emergency , just drop us a message
and we will be back with a donor ready for you. Here the
beauty of blood grid is that the donor is directly able to see the
joy of the person receiving the blood.

7. STRENGTH OF BLOODGRID
 BloodGrid was successful in building the responsive community of 47
volunteers .
 BloodGrid team comprises of six individual wings each focusing on
different types of work.
 Strategy wing deals with the day to day activities and will be
responsible for every activity of BloodGrid and will be guiding all
other wings to accomplish appropriate tasks.
 Fundraising wing deals with the activities for raising funds for
BloodGrid.
 Finance wing deals with the financial transactions of BloodGrid.
 Projects wing will be operational everyday as it should handle the
task of connecting blood donors and recipients.
 Outreach wing is to handle public and media relations and
promotional activities of BloodGrid.
 Technical wing works to provide technical assistance to every
activity of BloodGrid.
