This document introduces an art exhibition featuring works created by fictional personas invented by writers and inhabited by visual artists. The goal was to give artists a chance to "disembark from themselves" and explore issues through invented others, like sexuality, gender, and politics. Some key aspects discussed include Fernando Pessoa's concept of heteronyms, how fictional personas have been used historically in art, and examples of fictional artists and artworks featured in the exhibition, including works by Salvador Dali, Roni Horn, and Walid Raad.
